Compared to the first time built, the current condition of the Agung Mosque in Kediri is very different. However, there are some parts that remain awake its authenticity. According to an inscription mounted on top of the mosque’s joglo, the mosque’s worship house has been established since 1771 AD.

Then in the year 1830 conducted restoration which then continued again in 1841. At that time the mosque has been equipped with a pulpit that is still used by khotib while preaching. Earlier this pulpit was given a coat of paint but after it was returned to its original color, dark brown.
